Patna, (UNI) Popular film actor Shahrukh Khan, also known as King Khan of Bollywood, was ‘floored’ by the love of the people of Patna today as he was prompted to say that he had become the fan of his admirers in the state capital.
Mr Khan, who stole moments from his busy schedule to attend a function in the state capital told Bhojpuri film super state Ravi Kishan during a talk show organised on the occasion, “I had visited Patna earlier too. When I reached here, I was told that I had a large number of fans here. People of Patna have always given me affection in plenty but what the affection, I received today, I have been become fan of my admirers here.”
The superstar who had several blockbusters to his credit in his modesty said he does not know to dance.
Like people of Delhi, his admirers in Patna also assembled at Bapu Sabhagar (programme) in huge number as the hall was over flowing with people.
“I never realised I have become a big actor,” Mr Khan remarked even as he regaled audience with one of his most popular dialogues.
Mr Khan also danced with youths and children on the stage to the tunes of his popular hit songs. He also recalled how Hema Malini had signed him for her film ‘Ashana’ impressed by her long nose.
“My girl friend Gauri agreed to marry me after the film,” he added.
Referring to his ‘struggle’ days, Mr Khan said that a woman had slapped him for a seat in a local train once even as the incident acted like a trigger scripting his success story in subsequent years.
